FAQ

What is included in the sponsorship?

NextPCB Accelerator sponsorships include free turnkey PCBA prototypes of your design, manufacturing support, subsidized pricing and early-bird access to selected chips and modules. Please see the individual campaign’s page for sponsorship details.

For free prototypes, the sponsorship includes the following for PCB designs based on the selected chip or module:

  • PCB fabrication
  • Electronic components (including the featured chip/module)
  • PCB assembly
  • Shipping

For 2 boards up to $500 USD, unless otherwise specified. If NextPCB is unable to source some components, you may need to send them to NextPCB for assembly.

What projects do you sponsor?

While we prioritize business projects, we welcome hobbyist designs that contribute to the open-source community and showcase interesting applications using NextPCB Accelerator selected chips and modules.

  • Hobbyist/personal projects must be your own original work and you must give us permission to share them in NextPCB marketing channels.
  • Campaign participants can only take advantage of one NextPCB Accelerator sponsorship per month.
  • Acceptance criteria may vary depending on the campaign. Please see the individual campaign page for details.
